As hate crime continues throughout the United States, many are left unjudged & many cases have yet not been solved. On current news, judge postpones trial for the alledged killer of the gay Puerto Rican Jorge Steven Lopez, who was killed last November. Alleged killer, Juan Jos Martnez Matos' trial will iniciated on April 14, but is still in determination if he like to forgo with the the jury trial. Martnez allegelly stabbed Lopez to death on November 12, 2009. Further on, he decapitated, dismembered & partially burned the victim before he dumped him along a roadside near Cayey. Despite Lopez drug use, Pedro Julio Serrano of the NLGTF (National Lesbian & Gay Task Force) & other activists said that this brutal murder was indeed a human crime.
